Who we are

We are Kini, a mission-driven fintech founded by Rudo and Sisi to solve a deeply African problem: how families across Africa coordinate financial support for the people they love without stress, confusion, or unequal burden. We’re builders, operators, and daughters who have personally felt both the pride of supporting family and the frustration of doing it through scattered WhatsApp messages, bank transfers, spreadsheets, and guesswork. At our core, we believe technology should strengthen relationships, not complicate them, and that collective support deserves tools that reflect how families actually live and care for one another.

What we are building

We are building Kini, a shared contribution platform that helps families and communities pool money, coordinate support, and manage shared financial responsibilities in one transparent, simple place. Whether it’s caring for ageing parents, covering school fees, managing healthcare costs, responding to emergencies, or supporting community causes, Kini is designed to give everyone clear visibility into what’s needed, who is contributing, and what has been covered.
